The movie, banrolled by K.E. Gnanavel’s Studio Green in alliance with Dr. Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios, Pathu Thala stars Gautham Karthik in the main chracter along with Silambarasan, and it is the 1st time 2 Good actors of the industry are cooperating with each other. Along with Pathu Thala, Karthik has “August 16, 1947” in his pipeline for 2023. The forthcoming remake also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar in the female main character, with Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Teejay Arunasalam, and others onboard to play important characters.
Directed by Obeli N Krishna, the film stars Simbu, Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles. While Simbu plays the underworld gangster, Gautham Karthik plays the role of a cop. Earlier this month, the teaser garnered a lot of traction and now the trailer of the film gives fans an action packed visual. Pathu Thala also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalaiyarasan, Teejay Arunasalamm, and Anu Sithara among others. With music scored by AR Rahman, the film has cinematography by Farook J Basha, editing by Praveen KL, and art direction by Milan.

The audio and trailer launch of Simbu’s upcoming film ‘Pathu Thala’ was held in Chennai on March 18. The film is all set to release in theatres on March 30 and with just two weeks left for the release of the film, the trailer was launched at the event during midnight.
The two-minute trailer begins with a news report that states the Chief Minister of the State has gone missing. All eyes are on AGR, the head of a land mafia, played by Silambarasan. We then see glimpses of a riveting, violent political game. Pathu Thala is the Tamil remake of Shivarajkumar’s 2017 Kannada film Mufti. The film told the story of how an undercover cop (Sriimurali) tracked down a crime boss (Shivarajkumar). By the looks of the trailer, one can assume that Gautham is reprising Sriimurali’s role.
