Movie Story
The story focuses on a normal middle-aged couple, who already have two grown-up sons, finds out that they are going to be parents again. This conflict affects the harmony in the family of five and results in their sons facing humiliation at the workplace and school. The couple is ridiculed by their relatives and society. How the family overcomes the embarrassment and whether the rest of the family members accept the couple forms the rest of the movie.

Movie Review
Veetla Vishesham is a faithful remake that lives up to its original. The makers have reprised the character arcs in a loving way. Also, the way they used retro songs in the movie serves as cute nostalgic moments. The biggest strength of Veetla Vishesham is the crispy runtime (130 mins). With all that being said, RJ Balaji’s acting in the first half seemed a bit flat which falls on the short side. The music, cinematography and editing added more dimension to the film.
One of the best things about Veetla Vishesham is that the film never tries to recreate the original scene by scene. As much as it’s a remake, you can sense that a lot of effort has gone into the writing, especially the humour and drama part to suit the local sensibilities. If it was a game of tambola in the original, it’s chit fund scheme involving some women in the remake.
It has everything that a perfect Tamil movie should have – Drama, Comedy, Romance, and Emotion. The story is totally unique, No one has ever watched this kind of drama in Tamil, which got unfolded during the course of the movie.The screenplay is also very tight, In 2 hours you will get a full dose of entertainment which you have expected. Direction is simply brilliant, Characters are perfectly written, Casting is done ideally according to the character’s demand, and Dialogues and one-line punches are mind-blowing. The full movie executed in a very beautiful way, the first half of the movie is hilarious and full of humor, but the second half of the movie will bring tears to your eyes. All the characters have played their part brilliantly RJbalaji, Sathyaraj, Urvashi, Lalitha, and Aparna Balamurali, performances are truly the soul of the movie.
