Aadhi and Jeeva who lives in Coimbatore are friends from childhood. Aadhi falls in love with Nila who is also his childhood friend. Soon after the Engineering college Nila’s parents lock her in the room to avoid communication with Aadhi. Aadhi’s father encourages him for his interest in Music and gives one year time to prove himself as an independent musician with a condition that if not succeeded to return back.

Aadhi tries a lot in Chennai to prove himself but at the last moment of the year, he gets a chance to sing in the Radio channel which gets popular later. Aadhi promises his father of completing an MBA and also carrying on with Music albums. Meanwhile, he learns that Nila’s marriage got fixed so reaches her and requests for one year time but Nila rejects. In the End, Nila gets married to the person shown by her parents and Aadhi becomes a popular musician.
