Govinda Biography
Govinda, is an Indian film actor, dancer, comedian and former politician known for his work in Hindi films. He is known popularly for his dancing skills and how he makes people dance with his moves. Chi Chi is the nickname given to Govinda in his early Bollywood days according to Wikipedia.
Govinda first appeared in the 1986’s film Ilzaam and has worked in over 165 Hindi films. He started out as an action hero in the 80s & reinvented himself as a comedy hero in the 90s. He is recognized as a comic actor after playing a mischievous young NCC cadet in the 1992 romance Shola Aur Shabnam, with Divya Bharti.
Govinda played lead roles in several commercially successful comedy films. It includes Aankhen, Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1.
